About Us

Hi, I’m Stuart. My love for motorcycles started in childhood on the South Coast near Brighton, riding my bike and dreaming of the open road. Inspired by motorcycle racing, the Dakar Rally, sailing, travel documentaries, and adventure travel stories, I developed a passion for  travel, the outdoors, and exploring nature and the coastline, starting my adventures early in life sailing across the English Channel at age 12 on a 35ft yacht from Shoreham-by-Sea to Dieppe.

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to travel to 39 countries (so far), using just about every kind of transport, motorbikes, cars, boats, trains, helicopters, and planes. I’m always up for an adventure and eager to make the most of every journey. From riding through breathtaking landscapes and relaxing on remote beaches, to exploring vibrant cities, living and working abroad, setting off on boat trips, and crossing continents by train, every trip has brought something new and only deepened my love for travel, the outdoors, and discovering what’s out there.

I started SCMotoTours to share my passion with fellow riders, whether you’re an experienced global traveller, local explorer, weekend visitor, or even new to biking. Life today can feel hectic, but if you know where to look, you can discover peaceful, quiet roads and beautiful back lanes to relax, breathe, and enjoy the ride, and with my knowledge and experience, I can help you find these spots in just 20 to 30 minutes, even if you’re in central London.
